In Loving Memory of Michael Norris – A Very Special Floral Farewell 🧡💙

This beautiful collection of bespoke funeral tributes was lovingly created in memory of Michael Norris, a much-loved dad and grandad, devoted Luton Town supporter and passionate horse racing enthusiast.
Working closely with Michael’s family, we brought together the colours, interests and personal details that meant so much to him, creating a truly individual floral farewell.
A Celebration of His Passions
The striking combination of navy blue and vibrant orange was inspired by Michael’s love of Luton Town Football Club.
His magnificent four-foot coffin spray was designed in a contemporary, natural style, overflowing with vibrant orange lilies, roses, carnations, blue delphiniums, eryngium and flowing eucalyptus.
The bold colours, beautiful textures and natural movement created a striking tribute, reflecting Michael’s personality and the things he loved.
A Bespoke Horse and Jockey Tribute
One of the most personal pieces in the collection was a handcrafted horse and jockey tribute, celebrating Michael’s passion for horse racing.
Created entirely from fresh flowers, the design featured intricate chrysanthemum detailing, carefully shaped to bring the horse and jockey to life.
Rich brown tones, navy and orange accents, and delicate floral details were set against a crisp white chrysanthemum background, finished with coordinating ribbon edging.
A particularly special piece, bringing together traditional funeral floristry and bespoke floral artistry.
A Tribute from the Family – DAD
The collection also included traditional DAD lettering, beautifully based in white chrysanthemums and finished with rich navy ribbon edging.
Orange roses, blue eryngium and complementary seasonal flowers added colour and texture, ensuring the lettering coordinated with the rest of the collection.
Together, the arrangements created a meaningful and personal farewell, celebrating Michael as both a much-loved family man and an individual with his own passions.
A Very Special Man
Following the funeral, the family shared some lovely words about the finished arrangements:
“The way you executed the delivery of these pieces and capturing the colours and our vision, particularly the horse was phenomenal.”
They also shared a sentiment that perfectly captured the meaning behind the flowers:
“Very special flowers for a very special man.”
Knowing that the arrangements captured the family's vision and reflected the things Michael loved most made creating this collection especially meaningful.
