šŸŽƒĀ This Week at The Blackberry Jack

ree

This week’s display is a celebration of autumn colour and a hint of Halloween mischief — golden roses, fiery calla lilies, deep red kangaroo paw, and rich violet AconitumĀ (Monk’s Hood) gathered in a hand-carved pumpkin. šŸ‚

The soft red stems of kangaroo paw add their velvety charm — almost like tiny creatures reaching up through the flowers — while the Monk’s HoodĀ brings a touch of mystery.

Historically, this striking bloom earned its name from the hooded robes of monks… and its reputation from a more sinister past, once used in ancient times as a powerful poison. A perfect nod to Halloween’s darker folklore.

Pop into The Blackberry Jack to see it in person — a burst of colour, texture, and a dash of spooky history to mark the season šŸŽƒšŸŒ»āœØ
